Our Work in the Community
The NAACP DuPage County Branch is committed to building stronger communities through meaningful engagement, education, and service. Throughout the year, we host Community Outreach Meet & Greets, educational workshops, and committee-led events designed to connect residents with valuable resources, programs, and opportunities for involvement.

Meet & Greets
These events provide a welcoming space for community members to learn about the work of our branch, meet local leaders and volunteers, discover available resources, and explore ways to make a positive impact. Whether you're interested in civil rights advocacy, economic development, education, youth programs, health initiatives, veterans' affairs, or community partnerships, our outreach efforts are designed to empower, inform, and bring people together.
General Membership Meetings
The NAACP DuPage County Branch holds its General Membership Meetings on the third Thursday of every month at 7:00 PM in the Cafeteria of the DuPage County Administration Building. These meetings provide members and guests with updates on branch initiatives, committee activities, community advocacy efforts, and upcoming events.
Whether you're a longtime member or attending for the first time, our monthly meetings offer an opportunity to stay informed, connect with community leaders, share ideas, and discover ways to get involved in advancing civil rights, social justice, and equity throughout DuPage County. We welcome all who are interested in making a positive difference in our community.

Fundraisers & Gala

Fundraising is essential to advancing the mission of the NAACP DuPage County Branch. Throughout the year, we host community fundraisers and our signature Annual Freedom Fund Gala to generate critical support for the branch's programs, advocacy efforts, scholarships, and committee initiatives that serve communities across DuPage, Kane, Kendall, Will, & Northwest Suburban Cook Counties.
These events also provide opportunities to celebrate community leadership, recognize outstanding achievements, and strengthen partnerships with individuals and organizations committed to equity and opportunity. We are always looking to collaborate with local businesses, nonprofit organizations, community leaders, and corporate sponsors who share our vision of creating lasting, positive change. Together, we can expand our impact and invest in programs that empower our community for generations to come.
