Economic Development Committee
The Economic Development Committee, led by Chair Michael Batts, is committed to strengthening the economic well-being of individuals, families, and businesses throughout DuPage County. The committee actively engages with the community by attending regional conferences, networking events, and industry forums to identify emerging opportunities, resources, and best practices that can benefit local residents.
Through educational workshops, community partnerships, and outreach initiatives, the committee focuses on key areas including financial literacy, banking and small business resources, affordable housing, workforce development, entrepreneurship, community development, technology adoption, and public policy trends. By connecting residents with valuable information, industry experts, and strategic partners, the committee works to empower communities, promote economic mobility, and help individuals and businesses thrive in an ever-evolving economy.
