Chair: Raymond Sibley

Ray serves the Dupage County NAACP as chairman of the newly formed Criminal Justice Committee. A graduate of NorthEastern Illinois University in Chicago, Ray holds a Bachelors degree in Criminal Justice and a Masters Degree in Political Science. Ray brings to the committee over 25 years of law enforcement experience as well as years of experience with the Department of Corrections. Ray also serves as an adjunct instructor at Elgin Community College.
Ray and his wife are the proud parents of two children. They all attend and are very active in various ministries of St. John AME Church in Aurora.
A strong believer in equal justice and treating everyone fairly, Ray’s passion lies with creating a bond of understanding and cooperation between the general community and the law enforcement community.

2. Educate community on the relationship between incarceration ⁄ arrests and achievement
3. Partner with key criminal justice and advocacy organizations
4. Recommend to the Executive Committee matters that require direct action
